Proverbs 6:12-19

For some reason last night I was up around 1:00 am.  I couldn’t get back to sleep so I looked at Facebook on my telephone.  One of my friends shared their daily reading with their Facebook family and it was something that really spoke to me.  Her reading came from Proverbs 6:12-19.  It reads:

12 A scoundrel and villain, who goes about with a corrupt mouth,

13 who winks with his eye, signals with his feet and motions with his fingers,

14 who plots evil with deceit in his heart— he always stirs up dissension.

15 Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.

16 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:

17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,

18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,

19 a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

I sometimes am too trusting of others trying to always see the good in them and excuse the things I see that should be warning signs.  I have grown alot from this in the last 2 years, and when I saw the verse she referenced it really made some things make sense.  Sometimes people don’t know how to deal with what the devil presents them and these things are displayed in them.  When I see these things in people in my future I will always remember Provers 6:12-19.

Oh well, just wanted to share.
